This half term we will be thinking about our oceans and how important they are to the world around us. We will be thinking about the work of marine biologists who study marine life and about the people who work hard to protect our oceans from plastic pollution.
We introduce the children to the big word thalassophile - from the Greek term of somebody who loves the sea.
In Geography we will be learning about the five oceans of the world and where they are located around the world.
